Where am I on my oh so convoluted Cancer journey you ask?
I still have two flavors of Cancer enjoying their stay in Casa de PreppyDude. Just finished a Kidney biopsy this past week which wont tell us anything we don't know but I think it fills a square for the hospital. What we do know... Kidney Cancer is a surgery only type of cancer. It does not respond to chemo or radiation so the surgeons will remove the tumor and some surrounding tissue with the hope that they can salvage most of the Kidney. That's good news since while it is true that people can live with just one kidney, it's a very bad plan for people who have chemo in their future. Which leads us to the main attraction my 4th time around with Hodgkin's. After I heal up from my soon to be scheduled Kidney operation we will concoct some amalgamation of chemo and radiation to slay the beast (hopefully for the last time)
I promised photos
along the way
